[Timor-Leste🇹🇱] Cristo Rei

I went to see the Christ the Redeemer statue in Timor-Leste, a small island nation in Southeast Asia. Timor-Leste's Cristo Rei is the second largest statue in the world after the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Sadly, Japan is not depicted on the globe under the statue. [Access🚗] It takes 30 minutes by car from the city center. You can also travel by minibus called Miklolet. You can view the statue up close by climbing the stairs for 15 to 20 minutes.
