I got off work at 5 pm, had dinner nearby, and then headed straight to the airport. I arrived at Longjia Airport at 7 pm, took off at 9:05 pm, and arrived at Xianyang Airport at 12:50 am. I took the airport bus to Xi'an Station, took train D29 to Tianshui, and arrived at Tianshui Station at 6:45 am, just in time! · [Saturday Morning] I had a rough night and didn't get much sleep, so I felt a little light-headed. Travel shouldn't be a punishment, so don't follow my example! After leaving the station, I had a local breakfast of guagua, which is a bit like jelly, with garlic water, sesame paste, chili oil, and other seasonings. It was pretty good! · I checked in at Fuxi Temple. Fuxi Square is very large, and many locals exercise and take walks here! Fuxi Temple was built to commemorate Fuxi, the ancestor of Chinese civilization! Tianshui Museum and Fuxi Temple are in the same courtyard. One tells the history, and the other tells the story of Fuxi. The two complement each other and together tell the history of Tianshui! · [Saturday Noon] I tried Tianshui hot pot at a random restaurant! Tianshui hot pot is not cooked with vegetables and noodles together, but separately. The wide noodles are the soul of the dish, and they taste a bit like potato noodles. The side dishes are similar to northeastern hot pot. The combination is pretty good! Gansu's chili peppers are not very spicy, but they are very fragrant! · [Saturday Afternoon] After eating hot pot, I wandered around Tianshui Ancient City. The buildings here are all in the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China. Most of them have been developed into shops, restaurants, etc. The photos are very beautiful, and it is a bit like a commercial pedestrian street in other cities. You can go up the city wall and overlook Tianshui Ancient City! · [Saturday Night] I went to Guangming Lane at night, and it was very lively! But, as always, there was stinky tofu, grilled squid, skewers, etc. You can try the local food, such as rolled noodles, lard boxes, cold noodles, and Tianshui stew, which are all very good! · [Sunday Daytime] I checked in at Maijishan Grottoes. You can take bus 34 from the train station to the scenic area! It is one of the four major grottoes in China, built on a cliff. There is no mountain road, only a suspended walkway for tourists to pass through. Don't go if you're afraid of heights! The scenic area is not a scam. Although it is not as large as the Longmen Grottoes, it is equally impressive. Tickets and shuttle buses cost CNY 120! · In addition to the grottoes, Maijishan also has scenic spots such as Xianren Cliff and Jingtusi Temple. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to visit them all! Tianshui is a very comfortable small city with friendly people and low prices. Tianshui is great, and I'll be back next time! · [Sunday Afternoon] I left the scenic area at 2 pm, took bus 60 to Tianshui South Station, took the 3:30 pm high-speed train, arrived at Lanzhou West at 5 pm, arrived at Zhongchuan Airport at 6:30 pm, took off at 8:55 pm, landed in Shenyang at 11:50 pm, took the airport bus to Shenyang North, and took a sleeper train back to Changchun! ...
