One day in Tianmenshan

Tianmenshan located in Zhangjiajie town. I recommend for a whole day trip. I booked a hotel near Tianmenshan cable car station which was very comfortable, just 10minutes walked to cable car. We previously booked a route A trip, 7.30-8.00am, from trip.com about 2-3 weeks before. Very convenient. It began from a long cable car to upper station and then walked along west cliffside path to Tianmen mountain temple. The view of the cliffside path was very great and the morning weather was the best. Then we took a chairlift down to upper station again which we took a break for lunch. In the afternoon we reached the Tianmen. We decided for walk down the 999-step stair with a breataking view. and the went down the cable car to the town. We took time for a whole trip about 6-7hours.
