Tianmen Hu Family Garden

[House]Hu Family Garden is located in Tianmen City, Hubei Province. It is the former residence of Hu Pin, the governor of Shanxi Province in the Qing Dynasty. Built in 1899, this garden is not only the largest official residence in Hubei Province during the late Qing Dynasty, but is also known as the "No. 1 Luxury Residence in Central China" during the late Qing Dynasty. ✅Main attractions: The front hall has a courtyard-style patio gate, with a sedan chair room to the east and a gatehouse to the west. Main hall: named "Tuisi Hall", the interior is decorated with a plaque that reads "Heaven, Earth, Country, Parents, and Teachers" and a couplet that reads "With the country in mind, I shoulder the heavy responsibility; poetry and prose express my aspirations for a hundred years and keep my original intention." Central Hall: The main place for handling household affairs and entertainment life, a quadrangle composed of patios, with the patio on the second floor surrounded by corridors.
