Zhang Yuan 张园 is a AAA graded National Tourist Attraction site and it's the next pitstop you should visit right after popping by Jingyuan (靜園). Zhang Yuan was the former residence of Zhang Biao , the governor of Hubei and commander of the Eighth Regiment of the New Army stationed in Wuchang during the Qing Dynasty. Sun Yat Sen also stayed here twice before. Marvel at the unique and ancient architecture and well preserved relics of the period during the Cultural Revolution.
