Dajue Temple, Baodi, Tianjin

No. 2, Zhujiang Avenue, Zhouliang Subdistrict, Baodi District, Tianjin The temple is located in the Tianjin New City, facing south and slightly east. It is designed in the Sui and Tang style, with a pagoda at the center, a symmetrical layout along the central axis, four halls, and five east and west halls, making it very majestic and solemn. Dajue Temple was first built in the 2nd year of the Chongxi period of the Liao Dynasty (1033 AD). The original site was at No. 12, Dong Street, Baodi Old Town, facing Guangji Temple to the east and west, and was commonly known as the East Temple. It was later destroyed by war. Reconstruction began at the current site in 2010.
