I love all the scenic hotels, and this time I chose the Tianjin Haihe Holiday Hotel for my visit to Tianjin. The location is first-rate, right downstairs is the Tianjin Eye, and it's not far from the Italian Style Street and others. However, the downside is that it can be very lively and somewhat affect rest, especially during the Lantern Festival when fireworks go on until late, creating quite a bit of noise. Also, after 11 pm, I noticed drones flying outside the window (I wonder if Tianjin bans flying them?), which is a concern for those who are very particular about privacy and need to draw the curtains completely. The hotel seems to have been renovated in 2014, and the room facilities feel a bit outdated to me. There are repair marks on the walls and carpet in the room, but of course, you can't expect too much for this price. It had snowed in the north just a few days ago, and at the end of February, Tianjin is still a bit cold, so I always felt that the room's windows were letting in drafts and needed to keep the air conditioning on to slightly alleviate it. Overall, I'd give it a 6 out of 10 – I won't stay here again next time. Tianjin's breakfast is indeed delicious, and the prices are very touching. I don't like any soy products, but this 3 yuan bowl of tofu pudding is absolutely the best I've ever had!!! I really love the local atmosphere of Tianjin! There are many seagulls in Dongjiang
