E-Tong Pilok, visiting a mining village

Amidst the valleys and mist at the far west, there is a village called “E Tong” in Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province. It used to be a prosperous mine with over 60 mines, which earned it the name “Pilok Mine”. Today, even though the mines have closed down, leaving only the remains of their equipment, leaving the mines as nothing but legends. There are over 400 curves before reaching E Tong Village, but if anyone has the opportunity to stay and experience the atmosphere here, I can tell you that you will find it very chill.
