My Thassos trip 🇬🇷

#myhiddengems Just got back from a dreamy trip to Thassos, and it was absolutely incredible! 🌿🏖️ This island is a hidden gem in the northern Aegean Sea, and it’s perfect for anyone looking to relax and explore. We spent most of our time at Golden Beach, where the soft sand and crystal-clear water made it ideal for sunbathing and swimming. The best part? No entrance fee—just pure beach bliss! 🏝️ For a little adventure, we visited the Giola Lagoon, a natural rock pool carved out by the sea. It was a bit of a hike to get there, but totally worth it for a refreshing dip in the emerald water. One day, we drove to the ancient city of Aliki, where the ruins of old temples and marble quarries are free to explore. It felt like stepping back in time! The Monastery of Archangel Michael is nearby, perched on a cliff with stunning views of the Aegean Sea. We also discovered the charming mountain village of Panagia, with its traditional houses, narrow streets, and delicious local sweets. 🧁 Evenings were spent dining at seaside tavernas, enjoying fresh seafood, and watching the sunset paint the sky with shades of pink and orange. 🌅 Thassos is perfect if you love nature, history, and quiet beaches.
