Summer 🏝️ Phuket 🇹🇭

We woke to the sound of distant waves 🌊 and birdsong 🐦, and headed straight to Ya Nui Beach — a tiny cove hugged by cliffs 🏞️, where fishermen 🎣 were already casting nets and the sea shimmered like silk ✨. The sand was powdery and warm even at sunrise 🌄, and the water was glassy blue 💧, wrapping around our ankles like a welcome hug 🤗. After a refreshing swim 🏊♂️, we drove up to Khao Rang Hill for a breakfast of jok 🍚 (Thai rice porridge) and iced coffee ☕️ with sweetened milk, served at a sleepy café with a sweeping view over Phuket Town 🌆. Then we wandered into Phuket Old Town, with its faded Sino-Portuguese shophouses 🏠 painted in lemon yellows 🍋 and dusty pinks 🌸. After lunch, we drove south toward the windmill viewpoint 🌬️ and found a quiet stretch at Ao Sane Beach, hidden beyond a winding jungle road 🌿 and a few turns. The snorkeling 🐠 was unreal — clownfish in anemones 🤡🐟, coral swaying gently 🌊🌸. We lay under sea almond trees 🌰, reading 📖, swimming 🏊♀️, and napping 😴. Later, we found a firelit table at a cozy beachfront bar 🍹🔥 where the night unfolded with tropical cocktails 🍸 and soft live music 🎶 under a sky full of stars ✨🌌.
