Admiring the beauty of Wat Arun in Thai Traditional Costume
#familytrips2024 #vianasjourney
It has been my wish for quite some time to try Thai traditional costume. It looks elegant with accessories and bring out more feminine side of it’s wearer. While I was there, it was pretty easy to find a rental shop, which also offer to do your hair. I paid 400 baht for both my costume set and hairdo. The shops also have connections with local photographers which cost ranges between 1200 to 1500 baht. But I went with few friends so we divide the cost for the photography. There’s plenty of angle and sides of Wat Arun you can pose around. Photographer will also help and give some ideas on your pose incase you are not familiar with posing. It’s definitely a sweet experience. I highly recommend this experience.

Glowing Jewel BKK
I would say this is by far almost every tourist will go to place and it’s significantly more beautiful when you travel during sunset which is around 6.30pm depends on when you go. 🌅 Its distinctive spires, adorned with colorful porcelain, rise majestically against the skyline, making it one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. 😍
Getting There - Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn, is a stunning Buddhist temple located on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. I travel there via ferry taken opposite of Wat Arun Temple and it cost around 16 Thai baht.

Stop going into the Zheng Wang Temple, the best spot is actually across the river!
🏛️ Zheng Wang Temple, also known as Wat Arun, is located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok and is a famous royal temple in Thailand. It is a landmark building in Bangkok and a popular spot for social media check-ins.
⭐ The architecture is very distinctive, with a representative central tower that is 75 meters tall, surrounded by a cluster of smaller towers, adorned with carvings of animals and deities. You can climb the tower for a closer look; it's incredibly exquisite and ornate. The tower is also inlaid with colorful ceramic tiles and glass beads, which are said to be imported from China.
👉🏾 Wat Arun is not very large, mainly consisting of this group of towers. You can take a leisurely look and finish the tour in less than an hour.
📸 The temple is very crowded with tourists from all over the world, many of whom rent Thai costumes for photoshoots. It's very noisy, and it's difficult to take pictures with few people and good views. Moreover, the building itself is too ornate, which is not suitable for portrait photography. The best shooting location is across the river.
🚢 Recommended route:
1⃣️ To get to Wat Arun: It is recommended to take a boat along the Chao Phraya River. You can take a sightseeing boat from either the Iconsiam or Chinatown piers to Wat Arun, enjoying the scenery of the Chao Phraya River along the way. I don't quite remember the price of the boat ticket, but it seems to be 20฿.
📌 If you are very interested in the architecture of Wat Arun, you can go inside for a visit.
🈺 Opening hours: 9:00-17:00
🎫 Admission: 50฿
2⃣️ Take a cross-river ferry at the pier, the ticket costs 5฿, and when you reach the opposite side of the river, there are many cafes, pubs, and restaurants. It is recommended to order some food and drinks and wait for sunset. When it's not completely dark, Wat Arun will light up, and that's the best time to see it.

You can find that there is no such thing as a trip to Bangkok "The next day of Tyrande never rests for a long time, shining for a long time." Admirable National treasure of Thailand 🇹🇭
#cherryblossom2024
The most revered national treasure of Thailand is the Jade Buddha statue in the Grand Palace. 🛕
Visit The Grand Palace. The most worth seeing is the emerald green jade Buddha statue in the Jade Buddha Hall, which is 66cm high. A total of three sets of clothing were customized for the Jade Buddha. In February, they wore cool clothing and golden thread clothing draped over the Buddha's body.
Photography 📸 is not allowed inside the main hall. You can sit down and worship the Buddha, but your toes should not be facing the Buddha statue.🌸
The exterior walls of the main hall are covered with stained glass panels, shining brightly in the sunlight. The porcelain pieces come from Jingdezhen, China. Many of the porcelain pieces inlaid on the exterior of buildings were shipped from China and were broken during long-dist ance transportation. To avoid waste, they were used as decorations in the form of broken porcelain pieces.
The corridor is filled with gold leaf paintings 🖼️ , depicting the complex story of the king reclaiming the beautiful queen 🫅 from the hands of demons.

Wandering through Sook Siam is like taking a culinary journey across Thailand's diverse regions. Official announcement of permanent visa exemption! Enter summer in a second! This hot island that is only 4 hours away by direct flight~
Phuket is very familiar to everyone, the three major beaches here are Patong Beach, Karon Beach, and Kata Beach, which are crowded with all kinds of tourists. Although the three major beaches are beautiful, they are too noisy for those seeking tranquility. In fact, many other beaches in Phuket are also worth visiting!
For example, Mai Khao Beach, which has the longest coastline in Phuket, where you can quietly walk and enjoy the romantic sunset! It does not have the commercialization and vanity of the three major beaches, but it is full of vitality, small crabs, sea turtles, and the sea breeze are all evidence of the never-ending summer!
✈️Preparation before departure: passport, printed wine order, phone card, UnionPay savings card, carry cash 2000 rmb per person or 1w Thai baht per person
🏠 Accommodation: We chose to stay near Patong Beach, which is convenient for travel and has many places to eat and play. The hotel is very satisfied. There are two 711s within a hundred meters from the door, and the popular small hot pot is on the right side of the hotel.
👏Coming to Phuket, you must see the sea. Phuket has three major beaches, and it is very convenient to rent a car. You can rent a car for a half-day island tour (Patong Beach→Karon Beach→Kata Beach→Promthep Cape to watch the sunset)
1️⃣Kata Beach (Among the three major beaches, Kata is the favorite, with blue water, white sand, and relatively calm sea surface, suitable for lazing around)
2️⃣Karon Beach (Blue water, big waves, suitable for surfing)
3️⃣Patong Beach (The sea water is more turbid compared to the previous two, and there are the most water activities)
👏The second way to see the sea is to go out to sea🌊
✅Coral Island + Emperor Island Day Tour
The day tour reported on 🍑, only over a hundred per person, feels great, the itinerary is not rushed, very leisurely, plenty of time to play, snorkeling🤿, the sea water of Emperor Island is very blue, it is a jelly sea, but the waves are big, surfing is top-notch, Coral Island is not bad, basically no waves, soaking in the sea is too comfortable.
✅Similan Islands Day Tour
The farthest and most tossing among the island hopping tours, but it's really beautiful, white sandy beach🏖️jelly sea🌊, there are two snorkeling🤿. Depart from the hotel at six in the morning to the pier⛵️, arrive at Similan Island at about ten, and the play time is relatively short, not recommended for those with children.
✅There are also Phi Phi Island and Egg Island. The sea water of Phi Phi Island is green, with snorkeling, and there is a feeling of Guilin landscape, with mountains and seas. Egg Island is very close to Phuket Island, suitable for parent-child travel, many small fish, the beach is gentle, and the water is relatively shallow.
👏Coming to Phuket, you must go to the night market
1️⃣Phuket Old Street Weekend Night Market (Sunday 16:00-22:00)
If time can be arranged, you must go to this night market, which is very characteristic and has a great atmosphere. There are all kinds of food and fun. It is recommended to go early, the evening is more photogenic, there is sunset, the street is full of colorful lights, the bustling street, colorful architectural street.
2️⃣NAKA Night Market (Saturday and Sunday 17:00-22:00)
This night market is relatively cheaper than other night markets, a local night market, large in scale, with two areas for eating and shopping, with various special delicacies, and live resident singing.
3️⃣Frog Night Market🐸 (Monday to Saturday 17:00-23:00)
Very photogenic, with live resident singing, high face value, a variety of things are relatively complete, more tourists, the food is relatively expensive, but it is lively and the atmosphere is also good.
Phuket 4 days and 3 nights special forces tour on a whim
Going to Phuket now is the peak season, the cost is actually quite high, and the hotel is the main expense. Many good hotels are already booked, especially family-friendly ones. However, apart from the hotel, if you don't consider shopping, it's not too bad, it depends on how you play.
Since you choose to travel during the peak season, you need to have a good mindset, at least the scenery you encounter is far ahead. Although it's cheaper during the summer vacation, there are always big waves and heavy rain, and it rains for a few days after playing for a few days....
, Offshore islands, if time is not enough, it is recommended to go to Similan, don't go too many. If you have enough time, it doesn't matter, go wherever you want, but it's not recommended to go to an island a day, it's very tiring X travel a holiday, not military training! (Or a day trip for a day, and then go to another island to stay)
1 Similan: The sea is really beautiful, no filter is needed, it's full of dreams, the disadvantage is that you have to get up early. Similan can't accommodate people, although there are boat stays, but people with poor sleep will be uncomfortable, those who like deep diving and have certificates can consider boat stays.
2 Phi Phi Island: A day trip is also possible, you can also stay on the island, there are many hotel choices, if you choose to stay on the island, you can go to the viewpoint to watch the scenery and take pictures, you can also charter a long tail boat near the pier to Maya Bay, Little Phi Phi Island, Bamboo Island, etc.
3 Emperor Island: It's not as lively as Phi Phi Island, but it's very original and quiet. The sea of Emperor Island is blue jelly, the sea of Phi Phi Island is gradient, and the part of Little Phi Phi Island is green, like jade.
For the Phuket itinerary, I suggest you arrange it like this:
1 Patong Beach: Bar Street, Jiangxi Cold, Show Field, etc. are not far away, one day is enough, you can also experience Thai massage in Patong. Go to Banzaan to buy seafood and fruits, be sure to bargain. Jiangxi Cold shopping and dining can be solved, a lot of things are cabbage price, if the consumption exceeds 2K, remember to fill in the tax refund form
2 Karon Kata: Karon coastline is long, Kata has small hills. If you have plenty of time, you can stay for two or three days, blow the sea breeze, soak in the sea by the beach, drink some wine and play with the sand, watch the sunset, and lie flat in the hotel. Karon Viewpoint is average, it is recommended to go to Laem Sai Cliff Cafe
3 Phuket Town: The old street has a strong Nanyang style, the houses along the street are all colorful, and there are some exquisite small shops, coffee shops, all with unique styles, stroll, eat and take pictures in Phuket Town, it's very chic. If you go on Sunday, just stroll around the weekend night market
There are also many ways to play in other areas, arranging the itinerary by region saves taxi fares, everyone knows that taxis in Phuket are expensive.
I use Grab for taxi, purely because I don't want to waste time, compared to Bolt and Indrive, it's only about 30% more expensive (the whole journey probably won't cost more than 600). You can also take a double bar car/smart bus, which is more economical, equivalent to a bus.
Cong 'Zong' Hao 'Phuket Alliance'
They are all friends who have recently traveled to Phuket. We have a long time in Phuket and will find partners here~ There are hundreds of people here discussing strategies, avoiding pits together, and there are restaurant sharing documents, hotel selection guides, everyone is very enthusiastic and can chat!

Magical Bangkok: The more you play in Thailand, the happier you get
How to experience the classic and relaxed in Bangkok city, see how we play for a full day.
Visiting Bangkok, Thailand for blessings, if you don't go to the Grand Palace and the Jade Buddha Temple, you really haven't experienced the essence of this country. The Grand Palace, which has not been open for 3 years, we caught up this time and once again appreciated the beautiful scenery of the Grand Palace under the warm sunset.
The Grand Palace ticket is 500 baht per person. The Grand Palace is a symbol of the Bangkok dynasty. The architecture blends Thai and European styles. Brilliant and gorgeous, Bangkok is known as the "City of Angels" and the Grand Palace is the "Heavenly Palace" of Bangkok.
The Jade Buddha Temple is in the Grand Palace, where the national treasure of Thailand is stored. The Jade Buddha has three cassocks, and the King of Thailand will come to change it personally when the season changes in Thailand. What you see now is the winter cassock. They are all made of pure gold, gorgeous.

The moon is full, the new year is here, everything is just right! 🙏
We were honored to visit the Queen Sirikit Textile Museum next to the Grand Palace, which is a rare museum open to the public, and we have learned a lot!
Riding a special tuk-tuk to enjoy the city scenery of the Rattanakosin Peninsula in Bangkok is also a must. You must experience the wind and electricity scene full of unconverted gasoline smell when you visit Bangkok.
Of course, the Four-faced Buddha must go to pray and worship, and by the way, you can visit the Central world, which is known as Asia's No.1, and take pictures with the Christmas tree and Pikachu. It is not an exaggeration to describe it here with a dazzling array of things, but the price is really not cheaper than in China.
Then go for an authentic Thai Spa, relax and relieve fatigue.
We were also fortunate to attend the "Magical Thailand Exclusive Tour" lawn outdoor party at the Siam Museum in Bangkok on the evening of December 26, 2023, organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). We enjoyed the performances of Thai folk dances from different periods, and well-known Thai artists Cai Youfu (Da Wu) and Zheng Naixin performed on stage. The atmosphere is explosive!
