The only regret I had when I came to Turkey this time was that I didn’t see the real Trojan Horse with my own eyes. Today, it has become an archaeological site that can be visited on foot. In front of the entrance is the reconstructed Trojan Horse, which has become one of the most important cultural attractions in Türkiye, attracting millions of tourists from all over the world every year. In 1998, UNESCO listed it as a cultural heritage on the World Heritage List. Archaeologists have found the ruins of the Temple of Athena, conference hall, market and theater from the Roman Empire period in 400 AD in the ruins of Troy in a stratum 30 meters deep. Although these buildings have collapsed, judging from the remaining walls and stone pillars, they were still quite majestic. In a royal treasury, many gold, silver, jewelry, and bronze artifacts were found, and the pottery was mainly red and brown.
