Its history can be traced back to the 18th century

Walking tour in the Spanish Central Plateau ~ Teruel (region) It gets its name from the waterfall that flows down the mountainside and into a pond called Llovedor. It was built on the spot where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared. In the monastery, you can hear the singing of the Virgin Mary by holding a coin. Curiously, this statue is contemporary with the Our Lady of Montserrat and bears similarities to it. The car park is well signposted and we almost reached the top but it was a bit of a walk. The lovedor is the symbol of Castelo de Castelo and it is said that it never dries up, even during severe droughts. This is a free to access site. #AprilDestinations2025 #SpainTravel #Aragon
