Cafe samanala garden is an Italian-style cafe and pizza restaurant located on a hill in Tenri City, Nara Prefecture. It is a small family-run restaurant. The owner cooks the food himself. The highlight of this place is the use of vegetables and fruits grown by the shop to make various seasonal menus. Here, they grow persimmons, figs, and grapes. When the chef is cooking, he walks to pick fresh vegetables and fruits from the garden. If you don't believe me, you can see from the grape vines that the shop intentionally let grow and produce fruit on the ceiling. This makes good use of the space and also creates a new style for the shop's decoration. The recommended menu here is homemade pizza with various toppings. We ordered a mushroom pizza and desserts: tiramisu, coconut pineapple ice cream. We didn't disappoint. The pizza dough was thick and soft and very delicious.
