📅 Itinerary Day 1: Drive from Phuket Airport and stop at the PTT Mai Khao gas station to refill your "Amazon" coffee before continuing your journey across the Sarasin Bridge to Phang Nga, about 15-20 minutes. 🥙 Recommended Restaurants Lunch | Krachang Seafood Drive straight to "Krachang Seafood Restaurant*" for about an hour to enjoy lunch. Enjoy seafood, Southern Thai cuisine, fresh from the cages. >> I recommend the steamed blue swimming crabs. The crab meat is firm, sweet, and incredibly delicious. Seriously!! 🏖️ Recommended Accommodations LA VELA KHAOLAK From Krachang Seafood Restaurant to La Vela Khaolak Hotel Another 30 minutes (Phang Nga has less traffic, an easy drive, lots of trees, and some sea views). >> Check in to the hotel | Take photos, swim in the refreshing pool, beautiful light, and sunshine. Lots of activities, but I was worried I couldn't cover all the hotel activities, especially the beach in front of the hotel. And soaking in the tub is just silly. Price: 2,200 - 2,700 baht (depending on the current deal) Queen-sized room with pool view 🥙 Recommended restaurants Dinner | Krua Luang Ten >> No reservations, walk-ins only. When I arrived at the restaurant, I exclaimed, "Oh my god!!!" It was so crowded, like a merit-making ceremony. I have to admit, it was ***delicious*** and absolutely delicious. This is authentic Southern Thai food (the best in the city, no exaggeration). 🎉Recommended✨ Stir-fried spicy stingray Sour fish curry Squid stir-fried in black sauce (Every dish is truly delicious, I'm not getting paid to advertise.) Day 2: 🌳 Activity | Areca nut garden, bamboo rafting at Wang Khiang Khu Coming down from Khao Lak on the way back to Phuket We also found a reason to stop by... Rafting, getting wet, and playing in the waterfall, Thai-style. >> Rafting for 30 minutes, stopping for a bit of swimming, as much as we wanted. We ended with traditional Thai ice cream with lots of toppings. 2 scoops of ice cream per person, so satisfying! Price: 250 baht per person 🍴 Recommended restaurant: BUN PASTRY & BEVERAGES This cafe is near Hat Thai Mueang, which is on the way back to Phuket. So we stopped for spaghetti, pizza, coffee, orange juice, etc. >> This cafe is cute and cozy, yet still stylish and cool.
