Location: Mai Khaolak Beach Resort & Spa 9/17 Petchkasem Rd., Moo 1 Kuk Kak, Takua Pa, Bang Sak Beach, Khao Lak, Thailand 82190 A large resort located on Bang Sak Beach. This tropical-style resort features a large swimming pool that runs the length of the hotel. Every room has a view of the pool. This time, I stayed in a deluxe room. The room was divided into two zones: a lounge area and a sofa bed for relaxing. The balcony offers a relaxing view of the pool. The room has a bathtub and a spacious bathroom. From the room, you can walk to Bang Sak Beach and the beach for swimming. Breakfast offers a decent variety. However, the staff are mostly foreigners, with few Thais, which makes the service a bit disappointing.
