Relax amidst nature at Apsara Khao Lak

This trip was intended to relax in a slow-life style, so we chose Apsara Beachfront Resort and Villa Khao Lak because we wanted a peaceful atmosphere by the sea, not chaotic. And this place did not disappoint at all. The hotel is quite far from the main road. You have to drive through a palm plantation and natural forest, making the surrounding atmosphere peaceful and perfect for recharging your batteries. The hotel has both a resort zone and a villa zone, clearly separated. If you come as a couple, we recommend the villa zone because it offers the utmost privacy, with a private pool. But if you come as a family, the resort zone is convenient, with a large pool by the sea and a kid’s club for the kids to enjoy. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the beds are very soft. You can sleep comfortably all night. The sound of the waves gently lulling you to sleep is the best. The highlight here is the kindness of the staff. Everyone smiles and provides good service that you can really feel. The beach in front of the hotel is the highlight because it is long and very clean. Taking a morning walk or watching the sunset is great. The sea is clear and not crowded. It's like having a private beach. Breakfast has a variety of choices, including Thai and international food, cereals, bread, fruits, freshly made fried eggs, and a tea and coffee corner with a barista making it to order (the coffee is good!). In the evening, if you don't want to go out, there is a nice seaside restaurant where you can choose to sit and eat or order a romantic dinner on the beach. Most importantly, the price is not too high compared to what you get. For anyone looking for a quiet seaside accommodation in Khao Lak, I highly recommend this place.
