Takayama Festival Floats Exhibition Hall

Takayama festival happens in gifu, which 11 Floats will be displayed during the festival. it happens during spring and autumn of the year. other than seeing it’s grandeur during the festival walk, the rest of the time the museum houses these 11 floats (called yetai) for the fall Takayama festival. They rotate the floats 3 times a year (March, July, and November) putting 4 on display each time. Each floating hall has an intricate design and various meaning. they put in a lot of effort in the design of the float, even the uniform of the staff are very formal and structured. cost 1000yen
