Hida Folk Village

Hida Folk Village is a museum village that is beautiful both during the day and when illuminated at night. In the evening, when there are hardly any visitors, it offers a private atmosphere. For those traveling during the heavy snowfall in winter and facing travel disruptions, it is recommended to visit here as an alternative to Shirakawa-go. The village is easily accessible from Takayama, taking only 9 minutes by bus from Nohi Bus Station, stop number 1. The bus fare is just 100 yen per person. The entrance fee during the day is 700 yen per person, and at night, after sunset, there is a light-up event for 300 yen. The absence of crowds makes it a great place to take beautiful photos and enjoy the experience, making up for the inconvenience of being stuck in a snowstorm.
