Kagawa - Takamatsu: Ritsurin Garden 🌿🏞️

#springitinerary Ritsurin Garden in Takamatsu is a must-see, rated three stars by the Michelin Guide 🌟, making it one of Shikoku’s top attractions! It's historically renowned for its beauty, even surpassing the "Three Famous Gardens" in Japan 🏅. It’s often called the “third most beautiful garden” after the Adachi Museum and Katsura Imperial Villa. However, the garden didn't quite live up to its hype 🤔. While the views were nice, the crowd and yellowed lawns took away from the serene atmosphere 🌾. The koi fish, large and sluggish, felt a bit like they were just "hanging out" without much energy 🐟. The Tsukimi Bridge and the boat tours 🚤 were beautiful and perfect for photos, but the whole boat experience, introduced in 2012, felt a little staged with tourists dressed in traditional hats 🎩, making it feel more like a show than a natural experience. Still, if you’re in Takamatsu, it’s worth checking out for the views and the vibe! 📸 #travel
