Panlong Gorge Gave Jungle Vibes and Slippery Surprises

#chinatravel Hiked Dagangshan Panlong Gorge in Kaohsiung and wow it felt like a mini jungle adventure. Not super long but definitely not boring. The trail winds through this lush gorge with all kinds of trees, rocks and random streams popping up. There are ropes to help you climb some sections and it gets pretty slippery in parts so watch your step. I definitely almost ate it a couple times. Wear shoes with grip. Trust me. The sound of the water and birds makes it feel peaceful even when your legs are crying. There are a few small waterfalls and mossy cliffs that look like something out of a fantasy movie. It is humid and wild but in a good way. You will sweat but you will also feel very cool and adventurous. This is not a chill stroll but it is not crazy hard either. Perfect if you want something fun and different. Bring water and maybe a towel because it gets real out there.
