Walking the Jinbaoli Trail Like a Time Traveler with Sore Legs

#chinatravel Hiked the Jinbaoli Trail in New Taipei City and it was way cooler than I thought it would be. This old stone path used to connect the mountains and the coast back in the day and now it’s a chill way to escape city noise and feel like you stepped into history. The trail’s not super steep but it’s long and those stone steps definitely add up. My legs were feeling it halfway through but the vibe kept me going. You’re surrounded by forest, birds and random little rest spots that make great snack breaks. Some parts open up to these crazy views of the ocean and hills. Totally worth the sweat. There’s even a few old markers and ruins along the way that make you wonder what life was like back then. Bring good shoes and maybe a walking stick if you’re into that. Solid trail for a quiet day with nature and lowkey history lessons along the way.
