Climbed Wuerchahu Mountain

#chinatravel Hiked up Wuerchahu Mountain in New Taipei City and wow it was way more intense than I expected. Not gonna lie I thought it would be a chill weekend hike but turns out this one is steep and kinda wild. The trail starts off normal enough but pretty soon it turns into legit rock scrambling. Like hands and feet action. Super fun if you’re into that but maybe not for total beginners. The views though. Absolute fire. You can see the ocean, the mountains and the crazy landscape around Jiufen. Felt like I was in a movie or something. The top is narrow and kind of sketchy so don’t mess around too much up there. Took a few deep breaths and pics then got out before the clouds rolled in. Wear good shoes and bring water because you’ll need both. Not the easiest hike but super rewarding. Would totally do it again just maybe after leg day recovery.
