This time, I decided to stay in Taitung for one night on 12/9 (Friday) on a whim. I remembered the high service quality and hardware standards that a senior executive of the group boasted about, so I decided to book this hotel. The hotel is right at the exit of Taitung Railway Station, which is very convenient for tourists who decide to go to Taitung without driving. However, it is a bit far from the bustling Zhengqi Road Tourist Night Market, Tiehua Village Music Village and the Aboriginal Creative Industry Tribe. The area around the hotel is also relatively quiet, with a lack of food, drinks, nightlife and other resources. Parking is convenient, with more than ten parking spaces on 1F and B1F respectively, on a first-come, first-served basis. The female colleague who assisted with check-in at the counter in the evening was very considerate. She came forward to help us when she saw we were holding trash. Maybe it was because we were checking in on a Friday evening, the efficiency was very fast and there was no queue for check-in. Perhaps due to the general shortage of workers, no one collected the breakfast plates, and the receptionist was only responsible for asking for the room number and confirming the number of people, and did not assist on site. As a result, the plates we used were not cleaned until we left breakfast. Overall, I enjoyed the service at FO. The restaurant was a little cold, but understandable. The cleanliness of the whole room at HSKP was very high. Now let's talk about the guest rooms. This time we booked a room with two medium beds. The size of the room is more than enough for a couple, and the overall design is quite satisfactory. The bed and pillows have good support for me, and I think they are comfortable. The room does not provide bottled water, but it is very considerate that each room is equipped with a kettle, and there are water dispensers and bottle sterilizers on each floor to contribute to environmental protection. But here are a few suggestions: 1. It is recommended that the switches on the bedside table be labeled with black text on a transparent background, similar to the way DND and Make-Up Room did, which is clearer. 2. The bidet toilet is considerate, but from check-in to check-out, I could hear the toilet tank refilling at a fixed frequency, with a frequency of about 10 seconds of refilling and 10 minutes of stagnation, which prevented me from sleeping peacefully all night. 3. The numbers on the entrance emergency lighting should be wipeable. 4. But the TV remote control is very unresponsive. Finally, let’s talk about breakfast! This is probably the most monotonous, unremarkable and worst quality hotel breakfast I have ever had! 4-5 hot pots, millet porridge, rice gruel, and soup were not hot at all. The cold poached eggs were piled up in the thermal pot. Scramble or Omelet were not provided. The service staff only replied: "No!" Use a large soup ladle to scoop the tofu pudding? The main character that sets off the tofu pudding is actually at room temperature. It is neither iced nor hot, and it is hard to tell what it wants to express; the newly-come-out plates, soup bowls, and coffee cups are all wet; the Croissant, Bun, and Toast all seem to have been squeezed and tortured before being placed on the dining table; the ice milk and juice are completely at room temperature. The quality of the entire meal surprised me, it was far inferior to the Cingjing B&B which cost only over a thousand yuan the night before. Overall, the hotel facilities and services are quite good, but there is still a lot of room for improvement in catering. If the hotel can provide an option without breakfast, I might choose to stay.
