Neihu District, Taipei | Bishan Campground

Bishan Campground is one of the only two camping sites in Taipei City. It is located a little above the Baishihu Suspension Bridge on Bishan Road. The entire area is divided into forest trails, camping areas, forest camps, and an aerial corridor connecting the north and south camps. Currently, there is free admission, but if you want to camp overnight, you must make an appointment in advance. There are 4 separate dry and wet parent-child shower rooms, which is very convenient. The campground is also very chill, and the bird's nest, ant, and squirrel camps are even more adorable. Friends who like camping can come on a 2-day and 1-night trip at any time! The "Skywalk", a recent Instagram check-in hotspot, is 80 meters long. The winding S-shaped plank road is perfect for taking beautiful photos. From the platform at the end, you can overlook Taipei 101 and watch planes take off and land. The night view is even more beautiful. If you are lucky, you can even have a chance to enjoy the starry sky!
