Taipei National Palace Museum

If you are a fan of impressionist paintings and happen to be in Taipei, do not miss the Impressionist paintings from the Met which is displaying the Robert Lehman collection at the National Palace Museum. Extremely famous pieces from Renoir and some lovely ones from Mary Cassatt are the highlight of the show. It’s really worth going with the few famous pieces one can view. And of course do not miss the famous jade cabbage in the permanent collection which was in fact only size of a palm. It was a pity we missed the fat pork belly carving which was not on display at the same time.
