🌿 Review of Fu Hang Dou Jiang, the legendary salty soybean milk

If you come to Taiwan and want to try “authentic Taiwanese breakfast”, you must not miss this shop. It is a famous shop that has been selling soy milk and Taiwanese breakfast since the parents’ generation. It is also a famous breakfast shop with long lines since early morning. We waited for about 20 minutes. 🥣 Menus we tried • Salted soy milk (鹹豆漿) It looks simple but very delicious. The hot soy milk has a little foam and is very fragrant with soybeans. On top, coriander is sprinkled to add a light fragrance. It is served with crispy fried dough sticks that have been soaked in soy milk. It is very warming to eat. • Plain soy milk (甜豆漿) It is not sweet at all. It has a real soybean fragrance. It is refreshing and very easy to drink. • Bread with fried dough sticks (燒餅油條) The outer dough is crispy, the inside is fried dough sticks, hot, crispy and soft. It is fun to chew. It goes well with soy milk. • Fried egg (荷包蛋) The fried egg is cooked just right. Served on a separate plate, you can eat it plain or clip it to bread.
