【Taipei】Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall

Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is a Taiwanese historical building located at No. 21 Zhongshan South Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City. It was built to commemorate former Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek. It is a magnificent building with white walls and a blue roof, and is surrounded by the vast Liberty Square, the National Theatre, and the National Concert Hall. It is a few minutes' walk from the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall MRT station, making it convenient for sightseeing. In addition, on sunny days, you can see performances such as the changing of the guard (a ceremonial guard equivalent to the Self-Defense Forces), which is a popular event for visitors. It is also a very famous photo spot.
