Gustoso Italian Restaurant at MU Xuan Hotel | A Great Choice for Family Gatherings

Gustoso Italian Restaurant offers both à la carte set meals and a buffet. The set meal options are diverse, including beef, lamb, fish, duck, and risotto, with prices ranging from just over $1000 to $5000. We ordered the 12oz U.S. New York strip steak with red wine sauce and the cherry duck breast with wild berry sauce. The steak, cooked to medium-well, paired nicely with the red wine sauce, though I personally found the texture a bit dry. The cherry duck breast could have had a crispier skin, but the duck flavor was quite pronounced. The buffet selection is not extensive, but everything offered is quite enjoyable. There’s creamy pasta, vegetables, baked scallops with cream, and various meats. The buffet also includes cold dishes like snow crab legs, pizza, and Italian bread. At the bread station, olive oil and vinegar are provided. Simply slice the bread to your desired portion, toast it, and dip it in olive oil for a delicious treat. After finishing the main course, a round of buffet dishes left us very full. My favorite cold dish was the combination of prosciutto, figs, and melon—a delightful mix of sweet and salty flavors. To wrap up the meal, we enjoyed some ice cream, desserts, and coffee, completing a perfect dinner. This hotel is an excellent spot for family gatherings! There’s a parking lot downstairs, making it convenient for those driving to park directly in the basement.
