Nature, Nostalgia & A Hint of Hot Spring Air

#taipeitrip Beitou is famous for its hot springs, but Beitou Garden gave me a different kind of magic during my Taipei trip. After getting off at Beitou MRT Station, I wandered into a green space filled with old-world charm. I loved seeing the cute cartoon-style hot spring sculpture near the station—it added a playful welcome before heading into the park. Inside Beitou Garden, I was surprised by how peaceful everything felt. The running stream had natural hot spring water flowing through it, and the wooden bridges made great photo spots. There was even an old train carriage on display that made me feel like I’d stepped back in time. It’s a great place to slow down, take in nature, and enjoy a little taste of Beitou’s charm without spending anything.
