Visit Yongchunpo Ecological Wetland Park.

Yongchunpo is a natural depression surrounded by the Four Beasts Mountain. A hundred years ago, it was a shimmering pond. Over time, the water area of Yongchunpo disappeared, and the pond became an idle military camp. Artificial facilities also severed the ecological connection between the base and the surrounding environment. To create an urban ecological stepping stone and restore the historical appearance of the pond, Taipei City re-designated the land, worth a total of 38.9 billion, from an urban planning residential area to parkland, planning an ecological wetland park that also regulates the regional climate. After four years, the century-old pond was rebuilt with four design concepts: "environmental symbiosis," "water retention," "climate regulation," and "sustainable education."
