W Taipei Hotel (Xinyi District)｜Urban Luxury.

W Taipei Hotel is truly a design marvel! This five-star hotel is located in the bustling Xinyi District of Taipei, with a metro station and airport bus stop right outside. It's super convenient for shopping, with large shopping centers like Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, Eslite, and Breeze Center nearby, perfect for shopping enthusiasts 🛍️. The lobby has a great atmosphere, with neon lights and many design elements, giving a modern and upscale feel. The first impression is very impressive ✨. As for the rooms, I stayed in the Fantastic Suite, and the view was amazing! The room has 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, directly facing Taipei 101, which looks stunning. At night, when Taipei 101 lights up, it's even more beautiful 🌃. However, despite the high-quality visual effects, the comfort level of the room was not as ideal. The quality of the bedding, bathrobes, and towels was not as luxurious as expected, feeling a bit ordinary, and not as good as the W in Shanghai 😕. Additionally, there wasn't much space to place large suitcases in the room, so they had to be placed on the floor, which wasn't very considerate 😅. The room's design is quite unique, with a nice color scheme of orange and green tones, and pink lighting at night, giving a dreamy feel 💡✨. Although there are large white walls with fluorescent accents, which can feel a bit plastic, overall it doesn't look low-end but rather has a strong modern style. The blackout curtains work well, but if you're particularly sensitive to light, it might still be a bit bothersome 🌚. Moreover, W Taipei's facilities are quite complete, with a beautiful pool and gym. You can swim while enjoying the view of Taipei 101, giving a luxurious feeling 🏊♀️💪. Price-wise, the suite I stayed in was about 4,000 HKD per night 💸. While it offers fantastic views and design, not everything meets the comfort standards of a five-star hotel. If you're looking to enjoy high-end design and unbeatable views, this place is worth considering; but if you demand extreme comfort and attention to detail, it might not be entirely to your taste 😅.
