The Taiwan Literature Base is located in this largest Japanese-style dormitory area and is open for free visits. There are a total of seven buildings constructed during the Japanese colonial period. Note that you need to take off your shoes to enter some of the buildings. At the visitor center, you can get a postcard and a stamp collection card, which are great for souvenirs. Collecting five stamps will reveal a complete picture, adding some fun to your visit.
