Retro Tai-Pan Hotel

At the end of September, we stayed here for three nights. The hotel is located in the city center, close to many nice restaurants. The rooms are well decorated and clean. The bedding is very comfortable. We booked a super suite, which has a very nice balcony, but unfortunately, due to the heatwave, we didn't get a chance to enjoy it. The breakfast is good, but the choices are mostly Western, so we skipped it on the last day and had a traditional Tainan breakfast nearby (milkfish porridge). In terms of price, it's on the higher side, probably because our stay extended into the weekend and possibly because we booked a super suite. The Japanese-style rooms are very comfortable. The amenities provided are great. The staff are all very polite, enthusiastic, and warm. Breakfast was a big highlight. Overall, our entire experience at the Retro Tai-Pan was everything we hoped for and more. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely come back.
