A fusion of history and modernity: a journey from Taichung Railway Station to Taipei

#Taipei Itinerary Day 1: Early in the morning, I took the Taiwan Railway from Taipei to Taichung, and the first stop of the journey was the famous Taichung Railway Station. This century-old red brick building has a simple and elegant appearance, which contrasts sharply with the surrounding modern urban landscape. After getting off the train, I carefully admired the carvings and arch designs on the front of the station, as if I had traveled back in time to old times. Next, I walked to the Second Market not far from the station, which is the epitome of Taichung cuisine. I ordered a traditional braised pork rice and a bowl of fragrant Si Shen soup. The simple flavors were full of warmth. After a full meal, I came to the Green River Waterfront Corridor and strolled along the river. The water was clear and the banks were green. There were many cultural and creative shops and cafes on both sides, which made people linger. the next day: After returning to Taipei, I chose to start my journey with natural scenery and arrived at Qingtiangang in Yangmingshan National Park early in the morning. On the vast grassland, cattle are strolling leisurely, and the mountain breeze brings a hint of coolness. Walking along the trail, I admired the beautiful scenery of mountain flowers and greenery. I even stopped for a while on the grass to quietly enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature. After leaving Yangmingshan, I went to Yongkang Street to taste a fragrant steamed dumpling and smooth tofu pudding. The alleys here are full of the flavor of Taipei's old town, making people feel warm and elegant.
