A thousand-year story from the middle of Shikoku

#Domestic Transportation I rode on the tourist train "Shikoku Manaka Sennen Monogatari" where you can enjoy the spectacular views of Shikoku! This time, I rode on the "Shiawase no Sato Kikou" which connects Tadotsu Station to Oboke Station. I enjoyed a relaxing and luxurious train journey while looking at the beautiful mountains and valleys of Shikoku. 🚃Interior atmosphere and service The interior of the train is Japanese modern, with a calm atmosphere like a high-class inn. The windows are designed to be large, so you can enjoy the spectacular view from any seat. The staff are also kind and explain the history and sights along the line, so it was not just a ride, but a learning journey. 🚃Food and beverage service This time, I did not make a lunch reservation, but ordered a cake set. The sweets have an elegant sweetness and go perfectly with coffee and tea. The cake I ate while looking at the view from the window was amazing! Next time, I would like to try the special lunch plan. 🚃View from the train window As we travel along the Yoshino River, the color of the river changes to a beautiful emerald green, and the view of the Oboke and Koboke valleys is particularly spectacular! You can enjoy different scenery depending on the season, so I'd like to return in spring when the new greenery emerges and in autumn when the leaves change color. 🚃Access information The Shikoku Mannaka Sennen Monogatari requires a reservation, so you must make a reservation in advance on the official JR Shikoku website or at a travel agency.
