The Venice of China

Location: Suzhou, Jiangsu province of China. Getting there: Only 30 minutes on the fast train from Shanghai or 50 minutes from Nanjing. Very easy travel access. Suzhou is one of the most picturesque cities in China. There are so many small canals and narrow streets to walk around. The buildings are white with traditional rooftops and there are many famous gardens to walk in. I took one of the small boat rides in the canals and I thought I was in Venice. Tip: Visit Shantang Street for all the hustle and bustle. #suzhou
