It stands there, guarding this classical landscape, turning the strokes of time into plump, orange-red little suns. ☀️ Autumn waters and vast skies, pavilion reflections. That splash of bright warm color is a finishing touch dropped from a Song dynasty poem, a drop of cinnabar accidentally spilled on an ink painting. It is autumn’s most tender love letter to Suzhou. “Persimmon” brings good luck, may all go well.
