I finally found this super cool hotel in Suzhou

The outdoor pool offers stunning views. A standout feature is that every floor has a terrace. However, the east and west wing guest rooms are distributed along long corridors, which somewhat affects the efficiency of room service, resulting in longer wait times for deliveries. The hotel provides bicycles at the entrance for guests to explore the small island it occupies, which would be especially pleasant during spring and autumn. Both the Lakeview Deluxe Room and Lakeview Suite are approximately 80 square meters. Personally, I prefer the design of the Lakeview Deluxe Room—its terrace location and partition layout make the space feel more open. Whether enjoying fruit at the dining table or reading on the lounge chair, you can always breathe in the fresh outdoor air. The Lakeview Suite upgrades the water to glass-bottled Antipodes. The rooms come standard with Frédéric Malle's L'Eau d'Hiver toiletries, which are delightful. The oversized bathtub can accommodate two people, though its right-angled edges prevent full immersion. The lighting arrangement in the Lakeview Suite's bedroom could be optimized. The Gardenview King Room is equally spacious, bright, comfortable, and impeccably clean, maintaining the hotel's high standards for hygiene and bedding. The room is equipped with a Lavazza capsule coffee machine, a Dyson hairdryer, and Frédéric Malle's L'Eau d'Hiver toiletries. The hotel's pool, gym, and other facilities are all relatively new. Service-wise, staff across departments are warm and welcoming, making guests feel at home. A brief stay near the front desk will likely earn you a cup of tea, and any issues are resolved proactively. However, there’s room for improvement in overall coordination—miscommunication has occurred, and room service efficiency might struggle during peak seasons. Turndown service standards could also be more consistent. Additionally, unlike the Four Seasons in Dalian or Hangzhou, room upgrades here require extra payment even when plenty of rooms are available. Dining options could be more varied at breakfast, with some dishes being average in taste—particularly the vegetable salad, where some greens were tough and bitter. The hotel occupies a small island in Jinji Lake, surrounded by water on three sides, offering exceptional privacy and unbeatable views. The overall design exudes Jiangnan charm, with bamboo groves, bridges, and flowing water evoking the classical gardens of Suzhou like the Humble Administrator’s Garden and Lion Grove Garden. Its prime location puts it close to landmarks like the Gate of the Orient, Jinji Lake, Suzhou Eye, and Suzhou Center, making dining and sightseeing convenient. At dusk, you can ride the Suzhou Eye Ferris wheel for sunset views, and in the evening, take a boat tour of Jinji Lake to admire the grandeur of the "Big Pants" (Gate of the Orient). 🧹 Soundproofing/Hygiene: Rooms are clean, bedding is high-quality, and the overall environment is tidy and comfortable. 🏘️ Room Types/Layout: The Lakeview Deluxe Room and Lakeview Suite are both ~80 sqm; the Gardenview King Room is spacious and bright. The Lakeview Suite offers unobstructed views, while some Gardenview rooms overlook the lake and landmarks. Public areas feature neo-Chinese style, with terraces on every floor.
