Couple's Self-Test! This B&B is Absolutely Perfect

Bringing my girlfriend to Suzhou this time and staying at Gusu Shiguang Homestay was such a brilliant decision! After arriving at Suzhou Station, just two subway stops 🚇 brought us to Shilu. The moment we stepped out, we felt the vibrancy of the area, and the homestay was just a 100-meter walk away. Nestled in a quiet spot amidst the hustle and bustle, it felt like our own peaceful retreat, ensuring a good night's sleep. After booking, we added the host on WeChat in advance. The hostess was incredibly warm and introduced us to the surrounding area and Suzhou's specialty foods. The keyless check-in was hassle-free, perfect for introverts. Walking into the room, we were both amazed. The decor was beautiful, cozy, and comfortable—simple yet stylish, with every detail reflecting the host's thoughtfulness. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning views, allowing us to enjoy the beauty of Gusu from every angle, especially the enchanting nightscape! Fresh greenery, tatami mats, a little tent ⛺, and a Stitch plushie... but what caught my eye the most was the huge bathtub 🛁. Sprinkled with petals and bath salts, a relaxing soak was pure bliss! A glass of 🍷 to get slightly tipsy, paired with a romantic movie on the giant projector screen—perfect ambiance [Heart]. The location of the homestay is simply unbeatable! Right in the bustling heart of Suzhou's Shilu commercial district, surrounded by endless dining options—food streets downstairs, trendy markets, shopping malls 🏬... We indulged in all kinds of local snacks. Getting around was super convenient too, with buses and subway stations (Lines 1 and 2) nearby, plus shared bikes and e-bikes. There are plenty of attractions close by. Shantang Street and the Lingering Garden are just a few minutes' walk away. For Pingjiang Road, the Humble Administrator's Garden, or Hanshan Temple, a short 🚗 ride will get you there. What surprised me the most was that the host even provided a washing machine and kitchenware—so practical! Hygiene was top-notch too, with a comfortable mattress and high-quality bathroom amenities, making our stay truly pleasant. This homestay experience, with its thoughtful service, prime location, and cozy environment, left us with wonderful memories. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Suzhou—you'll fall in love with it too!
