The architectural plan of Hyatt Regency Suzhou is like a horseshoe or a capital letter A. The atrium that runs vertically from top to bottom looks like a deep typhoon eye or a steep cliff. Whether you look up or down from any height, it is dizzying and you can't stop taking pictures. The VIP suite we stayed in this time is located at the top of the letter A, and its interior layout is an irregular fan-shaped one. The advantage is that there are continuous floor-to-ceiling windows on the outside, which allow sufficient light into the room and allow the bathtub to be next to the window. The downside is that each space is not very well organized and the furniture displays are unexpected. Fortunately, the area is large enough so no matter how you arrange it, you won’t go wrong. I had breakfast in the cafe for two consecutive days. The food here has preserved the Hyatt brand's reputation for being good at cooking. There are freshly made xiaolongbao, rice balls, Suzhou noodles and wontons, but unfortunately due to its popularity you have to queue. It is also recommended not to eat too fast, otherwise the empty plates will pile up too high and no one will pay attention to them, making you look like a big eater, which is quite embarrassing. The executive lounge on the top floor offers a narrow view of Jinji Lake. The food is a bit forced. The cold dishes for breakfast downstairs will appear here in the evening. But the service awareness is much better, even though it is almost full, everything is orderly.
