Qili Shantang Street

🚉Transportation: Drive to Qili Shantang Street, parking is available nearby Qili Shantang Street Shantang Street, also known as Qili Shantang, is located outside the northwest corner of Suzhou Ancient City. It starts from Dusheng Bridge in the east and ends at Tiger Hill in the west, with a total length of about 3,700 meters. Shantang Street is where Bai Juyi, a Tang Dynasty poet, once worked, and is also the hometown of Wu Yipeng, a Ming Dynasty official. In 2010, Shantang Street was named a "Chinese Historical and Cultural Street." In 2014, as a heritage site of the Suzhou section of the Grand Canal, it was included in the World Cultural Heritage List.
