The Former Site of Jiangsu Provincial Surveillance Office

The Former Site of Jiangsu Provincial Surveillance Office is located at No. 170, Daoqian Street, Gusu District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. The site was originally the Ming Dynasty Military Preparation Office. The Jiangsu Provincial Surveillance Office was first built in the eighth year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty (1730). It is now a provincial cultural relic protection unit and was used by the Jiangsu High Court during the Republic of China period. It is a building of significant historical value. Having withstood the test of time and witnessed historical changes, the restored site of the Surveillance Office retains its majesty and adds a touch of serene and elegant beauty.
