Wat Suang Men

Wat Sung Men, Phrae Province 🌻🌿🍂It is an old temple in Sung Men District. Inside the temple, there are valuable and interesting antiques, including Buddha images carved from wood, Buddha images that can be disassembled, Wat Sung Men pagoda, Tripitaka in Thai and Pali, the most complete palm leaf manuscript in Thailand. 🙏🥀💐The ordination hall has Lanna art, while the local Lanna patterns are mixed with Burmese art. There are black and green lacquered pillars painted with gold vine patterns. Each pillar has a different pattern. The ceiling is beautiful with Burmese patterns. The roof is covered with terracotta tiles. The pediment is carved in the shape of a pair of nasal fins, which is beautiful to look at. The principal Buddha image in the ordination hall is Luang Pho To, which is a Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya posture. 🌻🙏🍂The Wat Sung Men pagoda is a hexagonal pagoda containing the relics and relics that Khru Ba Kanchana-Aranyawasi Mahathera brought from Burma. 🥀💐🎋The Tripitaka Hall is a single-storey building. Concrete floor, cement tile roof, surrounded by gutters to prevent ants, termites and insects. Inside, there are local Tripitaka, Dharma scriptures and Lanna literature brought by Khru Ba Mahathera.
