#SukhothaiHistoricalPark #WorldHeritage #Sukhothai 👏🌻📸❤️🏆 Sukhothai Historical Park covers the ancient site of Sukhothai, the administrative center of the Sukhothai Kingdom, which held power in lower northern Thailand during the 18th and 19th centuries. Sukhothai's city plan is rectangular, approximately 2 kilometers long and 1.6 kilometers wide. It is 2,000 meters long from north to south and 1,600 meters long from west to south. It is a three-tiered earthen wall, constructed by excavating earth to form a wall. The excavated land was used as a moat for water use and a second layer of tidal walls. The wall has four city gates: the northern gate is called "Pratu San Luang" (Sala Luang Gate), the southern gate is called "Pratu Namo" (Namo Gate), and the eastern gate is called "Pratu Na Mo" (Sala Luang Gate). The "Broken Wall Gate" on the western side is called "Or Gate." Within a 5-kilometer radius of the city walls, there are approximately 70 historical sites, built in Buddhist and Brahmanic traditions. Inside, remains of a palace and 26 temples remain. The largest is Wat Mahathat. This park, restored by the Fine Arts Department with assistance from UNESCO, attracts thousands of visitors each year, who can explore on foot or by bicycle. Sukhothai Historical Park, along with the historical parks in Kamphaeng Phet and Si Satchanalai, is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the name "Historic City of Sukhothai and Associated Cities." The fee is 30 baht per person... a great value! You can also pay homage to King Ramkhamhaeng the Great. #FatAnnChecksInSukhothai #kennyannejourney 👏🏆📸📸💕🤔😂💚 #VisitHistoricalSite #NortheastTeam #WaitingForTheDayToTravel #MissNature
