Sudeley Castle 🗺️

#myhiddengems Visiting Sudeley Castle in the heart of the Cotswolds was like stepping back in time! 🏰 Located in Winchcombe, England, this castle is brimming with history and charm. For an entrance fee of £20, I got access to the castle, gardens, and chapel, which was a great deal considering all there is to see. The castle is the burial place of Queen Katherine Parr, Henry VIII’s last wife, and walking through the rooms filled with artifacts and exhibits really brought history to life. 👑 The gardens are absolutely stunning, with over 10 different areas to explore. 🌸 My favorite was the Queen’s Garden, inspired by the original Tudor garden design, where you can take in the beautiful sights and smells of roses. 🌹 The pheasantry and the adventure playground are great if you're traveling with kids. After exploring the castle and gardens, I took a short stroll into Winchcombe village. It's a lovely spot for lunch with its quaint tea rooms and local shops. Nearby, I found the Cotswold Farm Park, a great place for families to meet farm animals up close, and the picturesque Cotswold Way walking trails offer breathtaking views of the countryside. 🚶♂️ All in all, Sudeley Castle is a perfect blend of history, nature, and beauty—definitely worth a visit if you're in the Cotswolds! #trip #sudeleycastle #cotswolds #historicengland #travelbackintime #gardenlovers
