Just a short drive from Bandung, this active stratovolcano offered stunning views of steaming craters and rugged landscapes. Standing at the edge of Kawah Ratu (Queen’s Crater), I was mesmerized by the raw, natural beauty and the distinct smell of sulfur lingering in the air.
