🌿Oh Poi, Morning Market by the Stream A small market by the stream, located in Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province. This area is a community of Karen Thais living. Located along the Pachi Stream, there are about 40 shops. The unique feature here is the alms-giving to monks. Those who float down bamboo rafts along the stream, is a lovely tradition. A cute gimmick of this market is that you can buy various foods and eat them on bamboo rafts. You can sit and enjoy the view of the stream, nature, and fresh air. All containers use as little plastic as possible. When you're done eating, you can leave your trash at every shop. The food is reasonably priced, from ten to twenty baht, and you'll be full. Plus, it tastes great. The vendors wear Karen costumes and are friendly. If anyone comes to visit Suan Phueng, I'd like you to stop by here.
