Alice Springs Telegraph Station Historical Reserve

#australiatrip nice little recreation of the telegraph station showcasing the history of the European settlers in central Australia, as well as the significance of the telegraph connecting Australia to the rest of the world. have a try at Morse code as they would’ve done at repeater stations via the telegraph line (I still don’t understand Morse code, unfortunately)! guided tour was more of an introduction than a tour, but very informative and helpful in making the most out of our visit here too! relatively close to the rest of Alice Springs. buy or bring a postcard to send some mail to your loved ones too! comes up with a unique postmark.
