Stockholm, Europe's designer capital

Stockholm is one of Europe's trendiest and most fashion forward cities. Though the city is steeped in history, with an amazing historical city center, you will find a modern way of life everywhere, whether it's at a museum or at Ikea. The city is host to a number of edgy museums like the Moderna Museet, a modern art museum that houses a collection of works including Yayoi Kusama, Picasso and Warhol. My personal favourite though is Fotografiska, the photography museum. When I was there, there was an Andy Warhol exhibition. If you're hungry after stroling around the gorgeous Gamla Stan or seeing the unesco heritage site Drottningholm palace, you'll find plenty of restaurants in Sodersmalm island.
